For the first time since 2007, country music’s premier couple, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, will embark on a major joint venture. The 2017 Soul2Soul Tour was announced on Oct. 5, and has the pair set to perform more than 60 shows over the course of the year. The venture also notably has been plotted in celebration of the couple’s 20th wedding anniversary. First up on the tour schedule will be New Orleans on April 7, with other stops along the way featuring a hearty mix of North American cities big and small, including but not limited to, Bozeman, Mont., Grand Rapids, Mich., Los Angeles, Sioux Falls, S.D., Milwaukee, Toronto, Denver, Chicago, Dallas, and Brooklyn.
In terms of the setlist, audiences can likely expect an array of tracks spanning both of their highly successful careers. Tim McGraw’s most recent album was 2015’s “Damn Country Music,” which peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and No. 3 for Top Country Albums. Faith Hill, meanwhile, hasn’t released a new studio album since 2005’s “Fireflies.”
